35 Years of Friendship. One Shared Vision.
Kanban Construction was created between 2 best friends of 35 years, David and Tommy. The two of them turned towards complete opposite directions of career paths, and then spent those years mastering their respective crafts before bringing it all together.
Tommy gravitated towards general contracting with a focus on client interactive sales and residential construction. Over a span of 20+ years, Tommy built an extensive breadth of knowledge in the construction space, from water damage repair to full basement builds, managing projects across Northeast Ohio with the hands-on expertise that only decades of real-world experience can provide.
David was called to technology, where he earned his degree in engineering and focused on building digital solutions to business opportunities. Over the same 20+ years, David became a leader in technology in the digital space, delivering platforms and systems that transformed how businesses operate.
Though both were wildly successful in their own lanes, they always knew their greatest work would come when they combined forces. In 2022, that vision became reality, and Kanban Construction was born.
The name itself reflects who they are: Kanban, a workflow management philosophy rooted in efficiency and transparency, applied to the world of home renovation. Clients get the craftsmanship of a seasoned contractor and the clarity of a tech-forward project management platform, all in one.
Tommy
With over 20 years in residential construction and client sales, Tommy brings unmatched hands-on expertise to every project. His focus on client relationships and project quality is the cornerstone of Kanban's reputation in Northeast Ohio.
Tommy's background spans water damage remediation, basement finishing, custom painting, HVAC, and full-scope residential renovations, giving clients a true one-stop solution.
David
An engineering degree-holder and 20+ year veteran of the digital technology space, David built the digital infrastructure that sets Kanban apart from every other contractor in the region.
